How does one calculate the number of bundled packs of shingles needed to reroof a home? - shingles
I know the size of the area to be covered with new shingles. I am using architectural shingles. I know that the tiles are in bundles of 26 or less divided. Since only a portion is exposed to the gravel, I know I need more square tiles that have the roof area. How is it calculated?

It takes 3 packets is equal to the square.
Size of the rectangle of the roof: 44 'x 16' = 704 square feet
Total square meters for 2 boxes is 704 square feet x 2 = 1.408
A package of shingles by 21 tiles that cover approximately 32 square
1408 '/ 32 = 44 Packages
Each set of tiles is called a "square". Each square covers 100 square feet.
I would like to mention selling a place, tiles, say, the type of tile that was used and the size of my house. You will know exactly "how" you need.
Good Luck

Please, please do not put the new roof over the old roof !!!!!! I have a house that they and not rotten wood, and I had to replace roofs on two bands and 25% of wood! Rent a dumpster and doing it too!
